Taxes are being raised on the wealthiest 1.1% of Americans.
98.9% of Americans will not have their taxes raised.
In fact, over two-thirds of Americans will have their taxes CUT.
The net of all of the tax changes is a small cut overall, as well.
You might not know that, though, if you've been watching cable news lately - Republicans have shouted "OMG THEY'RE GONNA RAISE EVERYONE'S TAXES AHHH!" so many times that the meme has been adopted by the villagers as truth, facts be damned.
